Do you like Indian food? Please come out and join us to learn how to cook Indian food from an expert, RPCVSF Member Subrata Basu (Belize '11-'14). Subrata will demonstrate for us and allow us to sample his great cooking at our next RPCVSF Cooking and Conversation Club luncheon.

We host these events to inspire you to visit with other RPCVSF members in a relaxed atmosphere. Subrata will host the luncheon at his home and will demonstrate the cooking of Indian Shak Panir (spinach with Indian Cheese) and a meat dish (probably a curry) - delicious foods Subrata learned how to cook from his mother. Everyone who comes is asked to please bring some covered dish. There will be plenty of Shak Panir and Curry and rice to feed everyone, but we need to round out the lunch meal with sides, salad, dessert.

You are also asked to prepare a question in writing in advance. During the course of the event, everyone will select one question from the group of questions submitted and share his or her answer. We will have extra questions prepared - everyone gets to play! The point of this effort is to get to know each other a bit better than our typical events allow us to do. Your question can be serious or playful, and so can the answers!

Please contact RPCVSF Lifetime Member Hyon O'Brien (Korea PC program, language instructor), hyonobrien@gmail.com, 786-327-9200, if you would like to host our next Cooking and Conversation Club event.
