Donations and/or Other Payments
You may use this section to make a donation or make a payment to RPCVSF.
WE WELCOME YOUR DONATIONS FOR OUR PROGRAMS, or for our general administrative expenses. Please feel free to specify how you wish your donation to be used.
Your donations allow us to maximize the good work we do - your gift will help:
- provide lunch for a child from a homeless shelter visiting the Everglades for the first time (as part of our Annual Everglades Outing)
- allow us to increase the contributions we make to charitable organizations serving under-resourced populations (each year we donate all net proceeds from the sales of fair trade items in our Fair Trade Market to a charitable organization)
- support a project of a currently serving PCV (through our Peace Corps Partnership Program Dinners)
- recognize outstanding educators in South Florida who promote Service-Learning in their classrooms - thereby inspiring future generations of volunteers (through our Spirit of Service-Learning Award)
- underwrite our administrative costs (website maintenance, corporate reports, bank fees, and membership management software).
Important information for you to know: RPCVSF is a 501(c)(3) organization. On December 5, 1988, the IRS informed RPCVSF that RPCVSF is exempt from Federal Income Tax under Section 501(a) of the Internal Revenue Code as an organization described in Section 501(c)(3), Charitable Organizations. The IRS wrote that "Grantors and contributors may rely on this determination unless the Internal Revenue Service Publishes notice to the contrary."
