Please join us for Colombian food at Monserrate Restaurant.   The menu includes an appetizer (empañada and mini picada), main entree (Bandeja paisa, pollo á la plancha, or Ajiaco Santafereño), dessert (très leches cake, chocolate cake, or flan) plus unlimited fountain soda.


The cost is $35 which includes a $9 donation to a partnership project; matched with $9 by RPCVSF.


The speaker for the evening is Maria Naranjo. Maria is the PeaceJam Coordinator in the Institute for Civic Engagement and Democracy at Miami-Dade College's InterAmerican Campus.  She will speak a bit about the Nobel Peace Award, the 2016 Nobel Peace Laureate (Juan Manuel Santos) and her work with PeaceJam.


PeaceJam is an international educational program that connects thirteen Nobel Peace Prize winners with young people. It's mission is to create a generation of socially conscious young leaders who are committed to positive change in themselves, their communities and the world.  Please join us for some great food, an interesting presentation and  good friends!!!
